Discussion on early functioning of milk pasteurisation plant and bringing it in line with the upcoming mega schemes and projects under Mission Organic Development Initiative (MODI) and National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) was held in a meeting on February 4 at Council Secretariat.

Phuntsog Stanzin, EC Agriculture directed to run the plant established at Spituk Agling on trial basis starting from February 10 to 20. He said that after assessing the performance of the plant and in negotiation with Milk Cooperative Societies of Leh, Hill Council, Leh will take further course of action. 

Dr. Zahida Bano, ADC Leh; Dr. Baqir, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Leh; Skarma Tashi, ARC and members of milk cooperative societies were present in the meeting.
