Leh BJP members take stock of flood-hit areas

A team of Bhartiya Janta Party, Leh visited the flood-affected areas of Saboo, Mahabodhi and Shey village to take stock of the situation on August 9 in Leh.
Affected people were ensured work out possibilities in a time-bound manner and a relief for the damage caused.
Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, President, BJP Leh ensured safe drinking water through PHE department at Vipasana Centre and LBA Hostel below Saboo village where the damage had caused problems for drinking water.
The team also ensured Mahabodhi society for the logistic support where the road, nallah and wall were damaged.
They requested Dorjay Motup, CEC for all assistance and relief measures in the flood-affected areas. The Hill Council gave assurance for the same.
Later, a meeting was convened at the party office for the providing public convenience in the flash flood areas through the medium of co-ordination with Chering Dorjay, MLC and Councillors of LAHDC, Leh.
The team comprises of Nawang Tsering Chalung, Vice-President, Head Quarter, Mohd. Hussain, Vice-President Sunni Affairs, Nawang Samstan and Dr. Skalzang Dorjey, General Secretaries, Tsering Namgyal (Agyal Kushu), President, Yuva Morcha and others members of BJP Leh.
