Legal awareness programme in matter of different schemes and laws for the welfare of the children was held at Govt. High School, Thiksay on 30th September to implement the state plan of action for the year 2015-16. 

The camp was organized by the Chairman Tehsil Legal Service Committee Leh, Rajinder Sapru -Principal District and Sessions Judge Leh was the chief guest of the programme.

The Principal District and Sessions Judge Leh, CDPO, Leh - Padma Angmo, Medical Officer Dr. Padma, Gonbo Stobgail -President Bar Association Leh, Sarpanch, Panch and Nambardar of Thiksay, Rambirpur and Stakna villages, Teachers and students of Govt. High School Thiksay took part in the programme. 

The event started with a welcome speech by Phuntsog Angmo Special Mobile Magistrate Leh. The programme continued with the speakers on different topics. The guest highlighted the importance of the legal awareness camp and spoke on the schemes and law relating to children welfare. 

The participant took active participation during the question hour session 

The programme was called off with a vote of thanks by Chairman Tehsil Legal Service Committee, Leh -Rigzin Angmo (Advocate).
