A review meeting of ongoing developmental projects at Durbuk sub-division was convened by Konchok Stanzin, E C Education with all the concerned officers on September 13 at Headquarter Durbuk.

Schemes like Border Area Development Programme (BADP), Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act MG NREGA, and other schemes under District Plan were reviewed and discussed.

Konchok Stanzin recommended speedy progress on all projects within the timeframe to avoid any cost escalation. He also directed the officers to put efforts on implementation of works by resolving technical issues.

Various issues such as health, diet and hygiene of students at residential institutions were discussed. Health department was directed to submit a detail report and recommended to take necessary measures to improve it.

Tashi Namgyal, Councilor Tangtse; Rigzin Spalgon, SDM Durbuk; Dr. Motup Dorjey, CMO; Executive Engineers of PHE, R&B, Construction, Irrigation & Flood Control and the officers of other departments were also present.
