An inspection team conducted an assessment of clinical establishments in Leh district under the Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2010, on March 18. The inspection aimed to evaluate healthcare quality, infrastructure, equipment, staffing, and regulatory compliance for granting permanent registration certificates.

The team visited Mahabodhi Hospital, Patient Care Center (Laboratory/Collection Center), Dental Care and Implant Center, Natsel Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Center, and Family Dental Care. Checklists were reviewed, and any deficiencies were communicated for necessary corrective actions.

The inspection committee included Medical Superintendent of SNM Hospital Leh, Dr. Rinchen Chosdol; District Health Officer (DHO) Leh, Dr. Yangchen Dolma; Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy. S.P), DAR Leh, Khadim Hussain; Cardiologist at SNM Hospital Leh, Dr. Lotus Gialtson; Dental Surgeon at SNM Hospital Leh, Dr. Fayaz Ahmad; Dr. Tashi Stogial; Naib Tehsildar Vilayat Ali; and In-charge Clinical Establishment, Stanzin Otsal.
