ICDS Project Nyoma Headed by Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), Nyoma, Zarina Bano organised an awareness camp at Government High School, Chumathang for Chumathang and Skidmang panchayat halqas on October 7.

Around 80 students along with 20 teaching and non-teaching faculty; representatives from the medical department and many villagers attended the awareness camp. 

CDPO Nyoma Zarina Bano highlighted the work carried out by ICDS under various projects, such as Poshan Abhiyan and Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) for the targeted beneficiaries. She also briefed about the changing behavioural phases of adolescent girls. 

 A representative from Social Welfare Department highlighted to the public about various schemes of the department to be availed of by them.
