Hill Council, Leh reviews preparation for "Ladakh dPal rNgam Duston" celebration
A review meeting in preparation for the upcoming "Ladakh dPal rNgam Duston" celebration was chaired by Chairman/CEC Tashi Gyalson on July 16 at the Conference Hall, Council Secretariat.
The meeting focused on meticulous planning and execution, with all departments receiving clear directives. Special emphasis was placed on the installation and operation of light and sound systems to create an immersive experience for attendees. Coordination among departments, including Public Health Engineering (PHE) and medical services, was emphasized to ensure seamless support and emergency preparedness during the event.
Themes, design, logistics, timing considerations, and venue selection were finalized during the discussions.
Additionally, strategies were discussed to enhance tourism visibility, commemorating 50 years of tourism, through banners and promotional activities. This initiative aims not only to showcase Ladakh's cultural richness but also to stimulate local tourism and economic activities.
