Health and Wellness Centres to be rebranded as “Tsey-Ring Nadmed Tsonas”
Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Tashi Gyalson chaired an important meeting with the heads of socio-religious organisations of Leh on January 28 and discussed the rebranding of the Health & Wellness Centre in Leh, Ladakh.
After comprehensive deliberation and suggestions put forth by the officials and the head of socio-religious organizations, the meeting unanimously decided to rebrand the Health & Wellness Centres in Leh with “Tsey-Ring Nadmed Tsonas” in Bhoti, an officially notified language of UT Ladakh following the provision provided under the guidelines of the order from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt of India.
CEC affirmed that formal approval would be sought from the UT Administration Ladakh by LAHDC Leh for the rebranding of these centers in the Bhoti language, following the prescribed guidelines. He further added that within a few days, all the Health and Wellness Centres in Leh district would be rebranded as “Tsey-Ring Nadmed Tsonas”.
The meeting was attended by Dy Chairman, Tsering Angchuk; Executive Councillor for Art & Culture, Stanzin Chosphel; DC/CEO LAHDC Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve; President LGA, Ven Tsering Wangdus; Vice President LBA, Tsering Dorjey Lakrook; President Anjuman Imamia, Ashraf Ali Barcha; and Vice President Anjuman Moin-Ul-Islam Leh, Nazir Ahmed Abdu; Chief Medical Officer Leh, Dr. Diskit Dolma; and Culture Officer, Ladakh Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Leh, Dr. Thupstan Nurboo.
