The speaker also warned the students about mobile applications that are downloaded through links that are sent via messages or WhatsApp, which mirrors the phone and might lead to either data or monetary theft. The SHO stressed that smartphones should be used with utmost precaution. In addition, the officer also warned about the psychological as well as legal ramifications of cybercrimes.
The officer also spoke about drug addiction and its symptoms. He informed that parents and guardians must be careful and stay alert with their children. In case of any unusual observations like being agitated and lonely, such cases must be reported to the police.
