EC, Zanskar Affairs, Er Phunchok Tashi inspected the ongoing construction work of the Kargil-Zanskar Road NH 301 near Rangdum on May 16.

General Manager, National Highways Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL), Colonel Ashwani Kumar briefed about the progress of work achieved so far besides the pace of progress on the ongoing construction works.

EC Phunsok Tashi while expressing satisfaction over the status of progress achieved and the pace of the ongoing work hailed the executing agency NHIDCL and the contracting agency. He expressed optimism that the works will be completed in the stipulated timelines for the benefit of the people of the Zanskar region.

Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Zanskar, Sonam Dorjay besides other concerned officers accompanied the EC Zanskar Affairs from Abran onwards towards Padum during the tour.
