Doctors save two tourists at District Hospital Kargil

The doctor at District Hospital Kargil on June 25 saves the lives of two tourists met with an accident at different locations in Kargil. 

According to reports, Parveen Singh from Lucknow who was coming from Drass met with an accident and was shifted to district hospital Kargil under critical condition. The doctors found that the patient was in shock and has massive spleen injury. 

It was further found that 2-3 liters of blood have been accumulated in his abdomen. 
The blood was donated by the volunteers of Add Blood Save Life Volunteers of Kargil, Baseej,  Al Reza,  Youths of Poyen and Goma Kargil and Hospital Staff. The patient is in stable condition.

In another accident case, a tourist from Sikkim named T T Bhutia got injured while travelling to Kargil from Leh on a motorcycle. The accident took place at Wakha village.
The doctors immediately operated and within hours after a successful operation and are out of danger. 

Father of the injured,  Rtd Col. D N Bhutia who is Chief Administrative Officer at Indian Himalayan Center for Adventure and Eco-Tourism Sikkim thanked and appreciated the efforts of the doctors and paramedic staffs of District Hospital Kargil. 

Dr. Haji Mohammad Ali, Blood Bank Officer DHK highly appreciated the volunteers and donors who came forward in such emergency situation.
