Divisional Commissioner, Ladakh, Saugat Biswas designated officers and officials for redressal of the grievances of the students and residents residing outside Ladakh UT on April 12.

The aim is to ensure the safety and welfare of the students and residents of Ladakh in various parts of the country amid COVID-19 outbreak and subsequent lockdown.

Nodal Officers and Officials for Delhi and other states include Kaneez Fatima, KAS (9873039462), Sumera Shafi, KAS (9818593105) and Deputy SP Ghulam Haider, In Charge Security Liaison Officer at New Delhi (7006688046).
 
Likewise, Urgain Nurboo, Assistant Engineer, PHE (600550398) and Amjad Khan, Auditor, Cooperative Department Leh (9797643415) are Nodal Officers and Officials designated for Chandigarh. 

Muhammad Yusuf, Physical Education Master, Department of Youth Services and Sports Kargil (9469928361) and Dawa Tsering, MPW, Rural Development Department Nyoma, Leh (9469541633) have been designated as Nodal Officers/ Officials for Jammu.  

In Kashmir, Tariq Hussain, AEE Procurement Division Kargil (97979034661) has been designated as Nodal Officer.
 
The order reads that the designated Nodal Officers/Officials shall coordinate with the Government authorities of Jammu, Kashmir, Chandigarh, New Delhi and other states who will keep close coordination with the administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh for effective and swift redressal of grievances.
