District-level Science, Mathematics and Environment Exhibition 2023 organised by DIET Leh at Eco Park Main Market Leh on June 20.

The exhibition was held under seven sub-themes including, Environmental Concern, Transport and Innovation, Health and Cleanliness, Eco-Friendly Material, Advancement in Information and Communication Technology, Historical Development with Current Innovation, and Mathematics for Us.

Director of Snow Leopard Conservancy India Trust, Dr Tsewang Namgyal spoke about the preservation and importance of the Ecosystem of Ladakh.

Deputy Chairman, LAHDC Leh, Tsering Angchok stressed the student to pursue their carrier in the field of science to make the life of people easy. While, Deputy Project Director of Navigation ISRO, Tsering Tashi guided and motivated the students in the field of information, 
communication, and technology.

The following schools secured 1st position in different sub-themes:

1. Mathematics for us: Govt Higher Secondary School, Diskit
2. Transport and Innovation: Govt Higher Secondary School, Sakti
3. Environment Concern: Govt High School, Domkhar Gongma
4. Eco-friendly Material: Govt High School, Likir
5. Health and Cleanliness: Govt Higher Secondary, Sakti.
6. Historical Development with current Innovation: Govt High School, Pachathang
7. Advancement in Information, Technology, and Communication: Govt High School, Wanla

All the 19 position holders in different themes will participate in the UT-level Science Exhibition at Kargil to be held on June 22.
