Director of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Syed Sajad Qadri, conducted an inspection of the ongoing work at the Rural Development Complex and Resource Centre at Kurbathang, executed by CPWD, on May 22.

During the inspection, the Director thoroughly assessed the progress of the building and instructed the completion of minor works to ensure overall readiness.

He also identified shortcomings in the building and directed the CPWD authorities to address them promptly.

Expressing dissatisfaction with the building's deteriorated condition before completion, the Director emphasised the need for proper channelisation and drainage of rainwater.

ACD Kargil, Padma Angmo; Executive Engineer REW, Fiza Banoo; Accounts Officer RD&PRD, Sajad Hussain and officials of CPWD were present during the inspection.
