Deputy Chairman, LAHDC Leh, Tsering Angchuk convened a meeting to discuss the disbursement of assistance aid to labourers for higher education and marriage on February 24.

During the meeting, Assistant Labour Commissioner, Ghulam Nabi Tak, apprised Deputy Chairman, LAHDC Leh about the financial assistance provided by the Labour Department for higher education and marriage. He also informed the Deputy Chairman that 300 labourers from Leh received assistance from the Labour Department. 

The Assistant Labour Commissioner shared that 606 beneficiaries have benefited from different schemes of the Labour Department. Similarly, 300 labourers from Nubra also benefited from the financial assistance provided by the Labour Department.
