Deputy Commissioner, Leh Shrikant Balasaheb Suse conducted an introductory meeting with District officers of various departments on February 18.

During his interaction with the district officers, DC Leh directed them to expedite development work in the Leh district. He exhorted the district officials to provide him with the same cooperation as his predecessors to complete development work in Leh district successfully. 

He also informed that he would conduct separate department-wise meetings with the district officers to review the performance of all the sectors. 

Earlier, district officials from various departments such as Public Works Department (PWD), Public Health Engineering (PHE), Power Development Department (PDD), Health Department, Forest Department, Rural Development, Treasury Department, Education Department, Sheep, and Animal Husbandry Department, Regional Transport Department, Agriculture, and Horticulture Department, Sports Department, Municipal Committee Leh, Food and Civil Supplies, and Cooperative Department, Pollution Control Board, Social Welfare, Revenue, Library, Archives, Fisheries, Tourism, Labour and Information Department, and LREDA shared major achievements of the respective departments in the past one year.
