The Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS) meeting of District Hospital, Leh was held on January 16 at DC Office conference hall. 

Sachin Kumar Vaishya, DC, Leh reviewed the new agendas of RKS and had a detail discussion on different works such as sewage water connection, dome walkway covering shed, construction of shops for revenue generation of RKS and other projects. 

Discussion on the preventive maintenance of oxygen plant, procurement of biomedical waste product, upgradation of SNCU, Labour Room, ICU & OT, payments of incentives to facility team, internal whitewash and painting of hospital, engagement of outsourced security personnel, parking facility, procurement of new laundry steam boiler, power audit of SNM Hospital Leh through Power Department and other required facilities were held.

Taking serious note of the present status of all the proposed works and other agendas, Sachin Kumar gave a deadline for completion of all these works to the concerned Engineering Departments.

He further said that administration would keep close monitoring and supervision on the pace and progress of each work and also cautioned to fix responsibility if any of the concerned agencies fail to achieve the work within the given timeline. 

Chief Medical Officer and Medical Superintendent, SNM Hospital were asked to maintain closer coordination with the executing agencies to ensure the desired outcome within the timeframe.
