DC Leh reviews DCC/DLRC meeting
A review meeting of the District Consultative Committee/District Level Review Committee for the quarter-end was held on November 2 at DC Conference hall.
The meeting was chaired by Sachin Kumar Vaishya, Deputy Commissioner Leh.
Discussion on credit-deposit ratios of the banks, flow of credit, assistance under various governments sponsored schemes, review of ground level credit flow under District Credit Plan, KCC, NABARD and others were held.
Sachin Kumar announced a change in meeting schedule from quarterly to monthly onwards and advised to prepare their monthly progress report for the next meet. He also stressed on the works of various sponsored schemes, majorly on the loopholes of Financial Literacy Camps for wider information and benefit to the eligible prospects.
The line departments and banks coordinators were asked to conduct a massive awareness programme.
He further stressed upon concrete results from both sectors of line departments and banks in the next meeting based on the development of the land and its people. He urged upon the banks to make extra effort to motivate and reach out to potential beneficiaries.
Tsering Wangmo, Lead District Manager,Leh informed the performance of banks in Leh in terms of Deposits/Advances, achievements of Govt. sponsored schemes like PMEGP KVIC, KVIB, Social Security Schemes, and KCC.
Gaurav Bhattacharya, District Development Manager Leh launched the book of the Potential Link Credit Plan (PLP) 2020-21 for Leh district prepared by NABARD.
