DC Leh reviews Centrally Sponsored Schemes progress

Deputy Commissioner Santosh Sukhadeve chaired a discussion on the saturation of Centrally Sponsored Schemes in the Aspirational Block at the mini conference hall on June 21.

During the meeting, all Heads of Departments (HODs) provided detailed updates on the progress of Centrally Sponsored Schemes in the block.

DC Leh highlighted that this scheme, launched last year, is operational in 500 blocks across India. He pointed out discrepancies in data on the ABP portal, emphasizing that actual achievements surpass portal records.

Concerning the Health Department, he directed the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to ensure updated information for the ABP portal.

The ICDS Department raised concerns about inadequate toilet facilities. DC Leh instructed the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) to prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for constructing six toilets under the new Capex Budget.

Similarly, DC Leh tasked the Education Department with preparing a proposal this year to elevate Puga School to Higher Secondary status.

The Agriculture Department's performance was reviewed, focusing on PM KISAN, Vibrant Green House, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), and soil health cards.

He also directed the Statistical Officer to contact the IT Secretary regarding non-functional VSATs in Korzok and Chumur.

All departments were instructed to promptly submit updated information to the DC office to rectify data discrepancies on the ABP portal. DC Leh assured that he would follow up with NITI Aayog regarding the data mismatches.

The meeting was attended by the Chief Education Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Medical Officer, AD Planning from RDD, Statistical Officer, and CDPO Nyoma.
