Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil, Santosh Sukhadeve chaired a review meeting regarding additional DPR submitted by PHE under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) on October 6 at DC office Kargil.

Superintending Engineer, Hydraulics, Maqbool Hussain; Chief Planning Officer, Abdul Hadi; Executive Engineer PHE, Mohd Hassan and other officials of the PHE Department attended the meeting.

The DC enquired and reviewed the work progress on all JJM projects in the district including physical and financial progress, quality of work as per the recommendation of a third party, additional DPR accorded or submitted, pipe procurement, AEE, AE, JE-wise timeline action plan and other related works.

While checking all DPRs prepared by the PHE Department under JJM, DC Santosh instructed to speed up the works on projects under the old DPR. He also inspected the components of the old DPR and additional DPR.

The DC reviewed the total allotted cost, old DPR, works completed in the old DPR, and other pending works in the new DPR in various villages of district Kargil. 

The concerned department presented the reports of completed works and requested the approval of additional DPRs that include works of bore wells and water reservoirs in various villages of Kargil. 

The DC assured all possible help and also gave approval to the additional DPRs and instructed the concerned department to complete pending works under the old DPR and further instructed to avoid duplicacy.
