DC, Kargil, inaugurates Model Middle School at Tingdoo
The newly created Model Middle School at Tingdoo under Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model was inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve on May 18.
DC Kargil said that LAHDC Kargil and District Administration are focused on motivating more and more villages to convert their schools into PPP model with an increase in roll in schools so that quality education can be ensured at the grass-root level.
Model Middle School at Tingdoo is the first school under PPP mode which is formed after the merger of a Primary School and a Middle School at Tingdoo.
DC appreciated the students and assured to fulfill all the demands of the school on a priority basis.
The students organized a colorful cultural program during which a memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed between the Quality Education Committee of the School, ZEO Shargole, CEO Kargil, and Councilor Shargole Mohd Ali Chandan.
Councillor Shargole also requested for lift water irrigation system for the village, a passive solar building for the school, an extension of playgrounds, etc. He thanked DC Santosh for being the first District Magistrate to visit the village.
