CMO, Kargil, reviews status of Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram

A review meeting about the implementation of Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) under National Health Mission was convened by Dr. Ibrahim Khan, CMO on April 5 in Kargil.
Dr. Muhammad Afzal Lone, Deputy CMO, Dr. Sikander Ali Khan, Medical Superintendent, Kargil besides other Medical officers attended the meeting.
Discussion was held on the steps being taken by the concerned officers for satisfactory and effective implementation of the RBSK scheme in various blocks especially the far flung pockets.
Dr. Ibrahim Khan directed the concerned to make all out efforts to ensure screening of all children from 0 to 8 years at schools and anganwadi centers so that the deserving children are referred to the tertiary care hospitals well on time.
The officers were also urged upon to take necessary steps to implement the national programme so that benefits of the scheme percolate to the beneficiaries in best possible manner.
