Gyal P Wangyal, CEC, Hill Council, Leh appeals everyone to switch off all lights at home and light candles or use the mobile phones flashlights on April 5, 9 pm as asked by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Gyal P Wangyal said that this will give feeling that we all 130 crore Indians are united and not alone in this lockdown. Through the illumination of lights, let us pay our heartfelt gratitude and encourage all those involved in India's fight against COVID-19. 

He further appealed people to religiously follow the social distancing norms as it is the only panacea to break the COVID-19 chain.
