Gyal P. Wangyal, CEC, Hill Council, Leh today flagged -off four SRTC Buses from NDS Stadium Leh carrying 100 stranded passengers of Zanskar region to Zanskar who were stranded in Leh due to lockdown.

The passengers were ferried in buses while strictly adhering to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).

CEC Wangyal urged them to follow the instructions of district administration strictly while travelling. He urged passengers to follow social distancing, hand washing and the wearing of masks for a prolong time and make it a habit until we won the battle against the pandemic.

Dr. Zahida Bano, ADC, Leh; Stanzin Lakpa, Councillor Cha, LAHDC, Kargil; Stanzin Jigmet, Councillor Karsha, LAHDC, Kargil; Sonam Gyurmet, Tehsilder Leh; Tashi Stanzin, Nodal Officer and Tsering Namgyal, Liaison officer were present on the occasion.
