Capacity building programme held in Kargil

A capacity building programme on Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) and Mission Antyodaya for the district officers was held on October 15 at Conference Hall, Baroo.
Training about various aspects of the GPDP and detailed information and training on web portals of Mission Antyodaya and GPDP were imparted. Officers were also briefed with the information about Mission Antyodaya Survey, the backbone of all developmental plans at the Gram Panchayat level.
The training also instructed to identity various infrastructural and human resource deficits in basic developmental indices like health, nutrition, education, community assets and other related aspects etc. and corrective measures for better planning at the grassroots.
Ghulam Muhammad, Assistant Commissioner Development Kargil; Shabir Hussain, District Panchayat Officer; senior officers of Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal and Sheep Husbandry, FCS&CA, Executive Engineers besides other concerned officers and field functionaries of line departments attended the training programme.
