Newly elected Chairpersons of the Block Development Councils (BDCs) of Kargil district took oath on October 31 at Conference Hall Baroo.

The oath was administered by Baseer ul Haq Choudhary, DC, Kargil.
 
Baseer ul Haq Choudhary congratulated the new chairmen of different blocks. He urged them to strive hard to get well versed with their roles and responsibilities and to work with utmost dedication, sincerity, integrity and commitment.
 
He further appealed them to put in their best efforts in highlighting the issues and preparing proper development plans for the overall development of their respective blocks.
 
Aga Syed Mujtaba Mosavi, EC Social Welfare expressed optimism that the newly elected Chairpersons of the BDCs will come up to the expectations of the people and strive hard for the overall development of their respective blocks.
 
Baseer ul Haq Choudhary urged the female Chairpersons to work dedicatedly and highlight the issues related to women rights, their education, health, skill development and other aspects.
