The District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW) and Block Medical Officer Sankoo organised an awareness programme on women's reproductive health and hygiene on May 24. The event held at the ICDS Project Hall in Sankoo, saw participation from ASHA workers and Anganwadi workers. 

Block Medical Officer, Sankoo, Dr. Zahida, participated as the resource person for the programme. Others present were Niyaz Hussain, District Mission Coordinator of DHEW; Aamina Banoo, Gender Specialist of DHEW; Sapoora Banoo, Case Worker, along with other staff, ASHA workers, and Anganwadi workers.

Dr. Zahida addressed a range of issues related to women’s reproductive health, including personal health and hygiene, vaginal infections, and infertility.

Gender Specialist Aamina Banoo provided insights into various schemes and their benefits under Mission Shakti. 

Case Worker Sapoora Banoo raised awareness about issues such as domestic violence and early child marriages.
