Ashoka Mission and Kargil District administration team up for July 8-12 Medical Camp

A meeting chaired by the Chairman/CEC of LAHDC Kargil on June 18 set the stage for the upcoming medical camp, jointly organised by Ashoka Mission and the District Administration of Kargil. Scheduled to run from July 8 to 12, the camp aims to provide essential healthcare services to the community.

Key stakeholders, including Tashi Mutup Kau from Ashoka Mission Delhi, Chief Medical and Deputy Chief Medical Officers of Kargil, and representatives from KDA and DC Office Kargil, convened to finalize arrangements.

To ensure seamless coordination, a liaison officer appointed by the Deputy Commissioner/CEO LAHDC Kargil will facilitate communication between the organizing team and local authorities.

Transportation logistics are set with the provision of five vehicles by the I/C District Motor Garage Kargil. The Chief Medical Officer, Kargil, has allocated 10 OPD slots at District Hospital Kargil to cater to patient consultations during the camp.

Preparations are underway under the supervision of Medical Superintendent, DHK Kargil, who will oversee the issuance of prescription tickets stamped with "AIIMS Doctor Camp Kargil" and the installation of banners to guide attendees.

Additionally, an online registration system, managed through a link created by the Medical Superintendent, DHK Kargil, will streamline patient intake and screening processes ahead of the event.
