Administrative Secretary, Technical Education and Skill Development Department UT Ladakh, Ravinder Kumar inspected various ongoing work carried out in Government Polytechnic College, Leh on October 20.

During the inspection, Principal Polytechnic College Leh, Talat; Undersecretary Technical Education, Ashwani Hansa; OSD, Dr. Stanzin Thakchos and the staff were present.

The Secretary inspected the Multipurpose Hall, SMART Classroom, Computer Labs, Workshop, Civil Engineering Labs, Administrative Section, Library,  newly constructed NSDI(Women) Building and College Hostel etc.

He stressed upon the Principal to start demand oriented skills/trades to be introduced in the curriculum. Courses like Solar Architecture, Renewable Energy technician courses and services/ courses required by the Indian Army, PGCIL, NHPC, SECI, NIWE etc. should be introduced in the days to come.

Principal Polytechnic College informed about various issues pertaining to infrastructure as well as academics. Ravinder Kumar assured to resolve all the issues in a time bound manner.
