ADDC, Leh, reviews progress of Samagra Shiksha Abhiyaan, District Capex Budget for Education Department
Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Leh reviewed the progress of SAMAGRA SHIKSHA ABHIYAAN and District Capex Budget for Education Department, Leh in the DC conference Hall on October 12.
ADDC issued a series of directions to ensure the effective implementation of the SAMAGRA SHIKSHA ABHIYAAN and the timely utilization of funds from the District Capex Budget for the education department.
He emphasized the importance of the SAMAGRA SHIKSHA ABHIYAAN, a flagship program aimed at providing quality education to all students. He urged the Chief Education Officer (CEO) and the Zone Education Officers (ZEOs) to diligently follow up on the Detailed Project Reports (DPR) and Administrative Approvals (AA) to expedite the implementation of this initiative.
Reviewing the District Capex Budget for the Education Department, he directed the ZEOs to closely monitor ongoing projects in collaboration with the executing agencies, ensuring that these projects are completed before the financial year-end.
It was stressed that the Education Department should make effective use of the allocated budget ceiling for the year. ADDC, Leh directed the department to ensure that all available resources are efficiently utilized for the betterment of the educational infrastructure and programs in Leh.
Further, the Additional District Development Commissioner instructed the Executive Engineers (Exen) to conduct a thorough review of the Education Department's financial expenditure.
The meeting was attended by; ZEPO, Leh; AD, RDD, Leh; Executive Engineer, R&B/Construction, Leh; Executive Engineer, SSD-Khaltsi/Nyoma/Nubra (Virtually); Block Development Officers; District Education Planning Officer, Leh; Zonal Education Officer/Zonal Education Planning Officers, Leh. Besides, officers stationed at sub-divisions also attended the meeting.
