Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Leh, Sonam Chosjor convened a meeting with the concerned department on March 24 regarding the arrangement for the month of Ramadan.

The concerned officers briefed the ADC regarding necessary arrangements being put in place beside the status of the availability of essential commodities for the coming holy month of Ramadan. They requested a team to inspect the quality of meat and chicken at the retail outlets. 
Further, it was informed that recently the Rate Fixation Committee has fixed the rates of vegetables and fruits.

ADC Leh directed the PDD, PHE, FCS&CA, and Cooperative Department to ensure the availability of ration and essential commodities during Ramadan.

Officers from different departments and religious heads were present during the meeting.
