208 cases settled in National Lok Adalat, Kargil
208 cases were disposed of during the 4th National Lok Adalat organised by District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Kargil on November 12.
In the Lok Adalat, five benches were constituted under Chairman, District Legal Services Authority Kargil Iqbal Ahmad Masudi. Different kinds of cases including pending in the Courts like Criminal Compoundable Matters, cases u/s 138 NI Act. MACT cases, Bank recovery cases, Matrimonial disputes, and other civil cases, etc were heard.
A total number of 222 cases were referred to the National Lok Adalat out of which 208 cases were disposed of and an amount of ₹1,10,000 was recovered as a settlement amount and an amount of ₹91,500 was recovered as a fine.
The first bench was presided over by Iqbal Ahmad Masudi Ld. Charmin DLSA/PDSJ Kargil, the second and third bench was presided over by Moneer Ahmad Mir Ld. Munsiff/ JMIC Sankoo. The fourth bench was presided over by Daldan Angmoo Ld. Munsiff Drass and fifth bench presided over by Assistant Commission Revenue Kargil Abdul Gaffar Zargar.
