A 20 bedded quarantine facility has been established at Zanskar Development Authority, Guest House, Padum.

Sonam Dorjay, SDM Zanskar on March 31 visited the quarantine facility to review the arrangements.

SDM lauded the efforts of the health staff working at the quarantine facility.

Meanwhile, he also visited Zangla Panchayat along with SHO Zanskar to assess the availability of essential commodities in the Panchayat. He interacted with the village representatives and briefed them about the precautionary measures to be followed by the villagers to check the spread of COVID-19.

Home delivery of LPG cylinders was also made and people were requested not to come to Padum to get their cylinders refilled as the Administration will deliver the same at their doorsteps.
