15-day SBI RSETI skill development programme concludes
The 15-day fast food stall and Udyami training organised by the State Bank of India, Rural Self Employment Training Institute (SBI-RSETI), Leh concluded on March 24.
Chief Guest of the occasion, Deputy Chairman LAHDC, Leh, Tsering Angchuk congratulated the trainees and advised them to be employment-generator rather than employment-seeker. He impressed upon RSETI Leh to start a training programme based on the demands of the local market and the importance of financial literacy and also praised the efforts of RSETI Leh in conducting such programmes.
Councillor, Khaltse, Lobzang Sherab congratulated the trainees and appreciated the efforts of the SBI. He impressed upon making more awareness programmes regarding the RSETI, the installation of persistence character, creativity in entrepreneurship and the importance of advertising and marketing in creating a brand.
Chief Manager, SBI Main Branch Leh, Farooq Ahmad & Director, SBI RSETI, Leh, Anil Singh apprised Deputy Chairman LAHDC Leh about the institution, its role in creating more entrepreneurs and it would conduct more training programmes in future.
The event concluded with the distribution of certificates to the participants. Chief Manager, SBI main branch Leh, Farooq Ahmad; Director SBI RSETI, Leh, Anil Singh; Convener, UTLBC, Leh, Tsering Morup; Lead District Manager, Muzzafar Hussain; Branch Manager, SBI Choglamsar, and JK Bank Moti Market were present during the event.
A total of 17 fast food &13 EDP youth were trained in two batches from different parts of Leh during the programme.
