A total of 100 students, including 50 boys and 50 girls from Nubra were selected among 250 students to participate in State and National Level Handball Competitions.

In this regard, a handball exhibition-cum-competition among the High and Higher Secondary Schools of Nubra zone was held at the Higher Secondary School, Diskit, Nubra on May 6. The event was organised by the Ladakh Handball Association in collaboration with the District Youth Services and Sports Department.

Deputy Chairman, LAHDC Leh, Tsering Angchuk was the chief guest for the event. Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Nubra, Lakshay Singhal; staff of the Higher Secondary School, Diskit and other concerned officials were also present.    

A cultural program was also presented by the students of Higher Secondary School, Diskit, Nubra.
