Feroz Ahmed Khan, CEC Kargil along with Er Punchok Tashi, EC Zanskar Affairs met relatives of the deceased in the avalanche incident at Khardongla on January 20  at Zanskar Sarai, Leh.

They expressed heartfelt sympathies with the relatives of the deceased and prayed for peace to the departed souls.

Feroz Ahmed Khan also visited SNM Hospital Leh where the dead bodies were kept and monitored the airlifting of the dead bodies from Leh to Zanskar.

He thanked the Ministry of Defence and the State Government for airlifting the dead bodies from Leh to Zanskar. Also, to LAHDC, District Administration and Police Department Leh, Army and all those who involved in the rescue operations.
