A grand Sufi music concert is going to be held in Leh on the eve of 150th Birth Anniversary of the father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi on October 2. In this regard, Gyal P Wangyal, CEC convened a meeting with the concerned district officers on September 28.

Various responsibilities were assigned to district officers for preparations considering the presence Governor of J&K and many other high-level dignitaries in the programme. 
 
Gyal Wangyal sought cooperation from all the concerned departments in making the programme a grand success.
 
Highlighting the feature of the programme, Sargun Shukla, SSP Leh said that this event is being organized by the District Police Leh under Civic Action Programme. 
 
She said that some of the nationally acclaimed artists will perform in this event besides local artists will also get a performing space to showcase the unique cultural glimpses of Ladakh.
