A beautiful ‘Junglu’ by Jigmet Chuskit and Tsewang Namgial and the way the anchors entertained the audience added spark to the moment.
Skyapje Thugras Rinpoche in his speech said “the children can never repay the love and sacrifices made by their parents. The parents play much bigger role in building up the life and character of a child. The parents must wear the traditional Ladakhi dress only then their children would prefer wearing the same”. He further highlighted the significance of imparting modern education to the students.
CEC in his address remarked that the performance and the role played by Lamdon School in all fields are worth writing in the history of Ladakh with golden words. He further appealed the parents not to have over expectations and pressurize the students but instead let them choose their own subject of interest and fulfill their dreams and provide them a platform to express and explore their talent. He further requested the students not to adopt the superiority complex but maintain humility for which Ladakh has been famous since ages.
Principal Eshey Tondup gave a detailed description about the history and achievements of the school calling it a fruit of the blessings of all the prominent Lamas.
