All Ladakh Tour Operator Association withdraw two names on 04 December, 2013 by lucky draw to participate in the world famous Travel Fair “ITB-Berlin” that is going to be held from 06th to 10th March 2014. The two names included Tsetan Angchuk, Himalayan Crossroad and Punchok Tsering, Exotic Travels. Both these participants will get subsidy on their expenses from J&K Tourism for their travel fair.

ALTOA also presented a memorandum to EC and AD Tourism for immediate and speedy action in interest of overall tourism promotion and development in Ladakh. Some of the points mentioned included, early solution of more flight frequency to Leh, invitation of new airlines, control in high rising airfare. Appealed support from LAHDC and J&K Tourism for assistance for funds to organize International Rafting Competition in 2014 and emergency helpline vehicle equipped with first-aid, oxygen cylinder in case of rescue and evacuation operations.

Further stated that proper and hassle free service for ALTOA participants at International Trade Fair and requested that the Ladakh gets chance to attend in more and more National and International Trade Fair. Operation of helicopter services in the remote regions of Ladakh like Tsomoriri, Pangong, Nubra and Zanskar Valley for increasing tourism.
