Welfare and Rehabilitation Board meeting held in Leh

CHOGLAMSAR :
A quarterly meeting of Welfare and Rehabilitation Board (WARB) for the welfare of Ex-central Armed Police Force personnel of district Leh and Kargil was held on September  30  at Sector Head Quarter ITBP. The meeting was chaired by IPS Dy. Inspector General, Abhinav Kumar.
 
The aim of the meeting was to disseminate the various welfare schemes initiated by the central government for Ex-CAPFs personnel. Grievances were also taken up to extend all possible help.
 
The association represents more than 6000 personnel of CAPF central armed police force which includes ITBP, BFS, SSB, CRPF Assam Rifles, CISF, and NSG.
 
Addressing all the Ex. CAPF personnel Abhinav Kumar extended his gratitude and highlighted their great contribution to the respective.
 
President WARB, Tsering Tundup and Ex-Deputy commandant thanked for the special recruitment drive for the youth of Leh-Kargil and Nubra. 
 
He said that this association represents more than 30 thousand residents of Leh and Kargil District and it is an effective forum for Ex CAPFs in which thousands retired personnel,widows, disabled force personnel and their family members can project their grievances for a speedy redressal by the  Government of India. 
 
Ex CAPF personnel, senior officers of SHQ Ladakh and other Leh-based I.T.B.P units attended the meeting.
