Three-day workshop on Treasury Single Account and TSA Hybrid held in Leh

The Finance Department of UT Ladakh, in collaboration with the Office of the Controller General of Accounts (CGA), Ministry of Home Affairs, is conducting a three-day workshop-cum-handholding session on Treasury Single Account (TSA) and TSA Hybrid for accounts personnel of Leh and Kargil districts. The workshop runs from September 22 to 24 in the Conference Hall of the DC Office, Leh.

The sessions aim to provide in-depth insights and practical training on the end-to-end process flow of TSA operations.

The program was inaugurated by Dr. Latinkhuma Franklin, IAS, Secretary Finance and Director, Accounts and Treasuries (DAT), UT Ladakh, who highlighted TSA’s importance in ensuring transparency and efficiency in financial management.

A key milestone of the event was the signing of an agreement between the Directorate of Accounts and Treasuries, Ladakh, and the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for opening the TSA account.

Training sessions are being led by Gayetri Devi, Sr. Accounts Officer, and Ashutosh, Assistant Accounts Officer, CGA, along with RBI officials Gabas Biswas, General Manager (DGBA), and Atul Kumar Dass, Manager (DGBA). From the Ministry of Home Affairs, H. Atheli, Joint CGA, and Anupam Raj, Deputy CGA, also addressed participants.

Attendees include Joint Directors Finance, Chief Accounts Officers, Accounts Officers, and Assistant Accounts Officers from various HoD offices, PAO offices, and the UT Secretariat.

The inaugural session featured a welcome address by the Pay and Accounts Officer, Leh, followed by remarks from dignitaries underscoring the role of TSA in strengthening Ladakh’s financial governance.

The program will conclude with a comprehensive handholding session to ensure smooth adoption and implementation of TSA/TSA Hybrid across the Union Territory.
