SBI organizes launch of three New Social Security Schemes

State Bank of India (SBI) Leh organizes the launch of three New Social Security Schemes under Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Beema Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Beema Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana on 09 May at Sindhu Sanskriti Kendra Leh. DC Leh Saugat Biswas was the chief guest of the occasion.
 
All the banks of Leh have launched these schemes to their account holders.

PM Narendra Modi launched this scheme in 115 districts of India on 09 May. Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Beema Yojana will offer a renewable one-year life cover of Rs 2 lac at 330 per annum. Any bank account holder between the age of 18 to 50 is eligible for this scheme. In case of multiple saving bank accounts, the person would be eligible to join the scheme through one savings bank account only. 

The Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana will offer a renewable one-year accidental death-cum-disability cover of Rs.2 lakh for partial/permanent disability to all savings bank account holders in the age group of 18-70 years for a premium of Rs.12 per annum per account holder. 

The Atal Pension Yojana will focus on the unorganized sector and provide subscribers a fixed minimum pension of Rs.1,000 and maximum pension of Rs.5,000 per month, starting at the age of 60 years, depending on the contribution option exercised on entering at an age between 18 to 40 years.

Saugat Biswas DC Leh instructed all the banks and concerned departments to disseminate information regarding these schemes in far flung areas of Leh. 
Anil Grover, Regional Manager SBI appealed the locals to utilize this scheme and requested employees of all banks of Leh to work for effective implementation of all the three schemes.
 
Vinay Sahani, Vice President J&K Bank said that all the 19 branches of J&K bank in Leh will be having this scheme. The account holder can register themselves in their respective branches.
 
Anil Mattoo, Branch Manager SBI Leh; Tsering Angmo, Deputy Manager SBI; Abdul Rashid Sofi, Chief Manager SBI; P.K Kalra, Nodal Officer, Oriental Insurance Company; managers and employees of different banks of Leh were also present.
