PDP Leh offers Fatiha Khwani for late Mufti Muhammad Sayeed

Fatiha Khwani and Moslam on the 40th days of the demise of Late Chief Minister of J&K Mufti Muhammad Sayeed was observed on 15th February at Shenam Community hall, Leh. The congregational prayer was organized by the District People’s Democratic Party, Leh.
The recitation of prayers was done by the monks and sheikhs.
Executive Councillor, Work, Dorjay Mutup, Executive Councillor, Agriculture, Tsering Wangdus and Executive Councillor,Tourism, Tsering Sangdup, councilor, religious heads, PDP members and workers were present during the occasion. 
PDP,Leh, President, Tashi Gyaltson expressed the shock and grief over the demise of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. He said, his contribution and services to the Ladakh region will always be remembered.  
He was the person who empowered LAHDC in the year 2002, with a vision to develop the region and give equal status in the state J&K which comprise of three regions, Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh, he added. 
Mufti Mohammad Sayeed was an exemplary leader who has dreamt of taking the state into new heights despite of sensitive and fragile nature of the region. He said the workers of PDP will follow the path he has set and will work for what he had dreamt of.  
The 79 years old, Late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed breathed last around 7.30 AM on 7th January at All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) due to multiple organ failure. He was detected with sepsis, decreased blood counts and pneumonia, and was admitted to the hospital on December 24.
EC-Work, Dorjay Mutup said that the demise of Mufti Muhammad Sayeed is not only an irreparable loss to Jammu and Kashmir but for the whole nation as he was a dynamic national leader. 
 He further added that the decision of PDP –BJP coalition Government is made with an eye to the road of development of all the three regions of the state.
