Mega legal awareness camp to be held in Kargil

A meeting was chaired by Principal District and Session Judge Kargil Sanjiv Kumar Bhagat on June 7 to discuss the arrangements for the forthcoming visit of the Chief Justice J&K High Court and judges from the Supreme Court and J&K High Court to the district during the current month.

Justice Ranjan Gogoi and Justice N.V Ramana, Judges from the Supreme Court of India, Alok Aradhe, Chief Justice J&K High Court, Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey, Justice Tashi Rabstan and Justice M.K Hanjura Judges of J&K High Court, Registrar General J&K High Court, Principal Secretary to Chief Justice J&K High Court and other dignitaries are scheduled to arrive on June 21.

The mega legal awareness camp will be organised at Hussaini Park Kargil. 

Sanjiv Kumar Bhagat took a brief from the officers of the Judiciary, district administration, security and police about the necessary arrangements. Discussion on security, medicare facilities, PAS system, power supply and drinking water, publicity, sanitation, erection of tents, transport facilities, parking points, seating and other necessary arrangements were carried out.

The concerned departments were directed to ensure all arrangements on time to organise the mega legal awareness programme without any disruptions. He  urged everyone for their cooperation to make the scheduled function successful. 

Departments including Social Welfare, ICDS, Labour, Municipality, Education, Handicrafts, Handlooms, Agriculture, Horticulture and other departments will put up stalls to highlight Central and State Government schemes for the larger benefit of the public. 

Also, health screening and blood donation camp will be set up by the Health Department.
