The Humas Upliftment Organization, with support from Toymate Educational Toys and Games, established its second and third Toy Libraries of the month at Government Middle School Chowkiyal, Drass, and Himbas Public School, Drass, under its ongoing Kindergarten Development Project.

The Toy Libraries in both schools were inaugurated by the Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Drass, Mohd Ibrahim, in the presence of Chairperson Zakir Hussain; Vice Chairman Khursheed Ahmad; General Secretary Jhangeer Ahmad; Secretary Bilal Ahmad; Women Wing General Secretary Khalida Banoo; Headmaster of Government Middle School Chowkiyal, Mohd Ismail; Teacher Ajaz Ahmad; Principal of Himbas Public School, Mohd Saleem; Yaseen Sabri; and committee members, including Ex-Sarpanch Shamim Ahmad.

The school authorities of both institutions praised the dedicated efforts of the NGO and its supporters, urging the organization to expand this initiative to more schools across the region.

These Toy Libraries play a vital role in promoting learning through play, helping children develop essential cognitive, social, and creative skills in an engaging and joyful environment.

Officials of the Humas Upliftment Organization, along with their sponsors Toymate Educational Toys and Himalayan Volunteer Tourism, stated that they have already established around 15 Toy Libraries in Kargil. They announced plans to establish approximately 50 more Toy Libraries across Kargil district in the near future as part of this project.
