EC Kacho Mohd Feroz unfurls tricolour at Council Secretariat on 77th Republic Day
Executive Councillor, LAHDC Kargil, Kacho Mohd Feroz unfurled the National Tricolour at the Council Secretariat, Kargil, on the occasion of the 77th Republic Day. The event was attended by council staff, police officers, and other officials.
Addressing the gathering, EC Kacho Mohd Feroz paid rich tributes to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar for his pivotal role in drafting the Constitution of India. He stated that the Constitution guarantees equal rights and freedoms to all citizens, without discrimination based on colour, caste, or any other social identity. He described the Indian Constitution as a unique and comprehensive document that safeguards the rights of every individual.
He further emphasized that the Constitution empowers citizens with the right to vote and elect their representatives, who are responsible for framing policies aimed at the welfare and development of the people. Reiterating the commitment of LAHDC Kargil, he assured that the Council remains dedicated to providing essential facilities across all sectors, including health, education, roads, and other key areas of development.
EC Kacho Mohd Feroz also highlighted the crucial role played by district officers in the overall development of Kargil, noting that their contributions often go unnoticed despite being vital to progress. He expressed gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner Kargil, SSP Kargil, and the Indian Army jawans for safeguarding the borders and maintaining peace and security in the region.
He concluded by reaffirming that LAHDC Kargil is committed to the holistic development of the district and will continue to work tirelessly to ensure sustained progress and prosperity for the people of Kargil.
