District Youth Congress holds public meeting in Khaltse

A public meeting, ‘Churahai Pai Charcha’ was organised by District Youth Congress on April 23 in Khaltse.

Addressing the gathering, Tsering Samphel, President, DCC highlighted the failure of the BJP led government at the Centre and PDP-BJP led in the state.
 
He expressed anguish over the manner in which people are fooled by the Narendra Modi led BJP Government.

He said the Congress leaders like P Namgyal, Ex-MP, MLA, Leh and Nawang Rigzin Jora, MLA and Rigzin Spalbar, Former CEC contributed a lot to the people of Ladakh which the current BJP leaders can never replicate.

“It is because of the dynamic leadership of Nawang Rigzin Jora that today Leh district has developed to such a level”, he added.

Tsering Namgyal, President, District Youth Congress highlighted issues including Hill Council, Leh not being able to convince Army to buy milk from local villagers in Leh, issue of BSNL not paying Employment Provision Fund to over 100 contractual staff since last many years.  He termed the ruling government as "Jhumla sarkar".
Rinchen Tundup, President, Khaltse Block criticized the Hill Council, Leh for not able to depute physician at Khaltse Hospital and also taking important equipment to Leh.

Sonam Dorjey, Ex-EC condemned BJP Party Leh for not being able to run the Hill Council as they lack experience.

Leaders of the Congress party highlighted the price hike in Ration, Cylinder, petrol and every consumer goods under BJP Government.
