DC, Leh visits villages of Changthang, ensures proper facilities

Changthang :
To access the ground reality of people living in Changthang area, the standard of facilities and problems faced by the people, Sachin Kumar, DC Leh conducted a 2-day tour to Durbuk and Nyoma Sub-divisions on October 15.
 
During the interaction with the public, the villagers apprised various issues such as lack of basic facilities and infrastructure in their villages. Sachin Kumar instructed the concerned HODs for immediate readdress of their issues. 
 
He also assured to take immediate steps on their major issues like commissioning of JIO mobile services, improvement in BSNL services, renovation of solar power plants, enhancement in diet charges of children in residential hostels and shortage of staff in schools 
 
Sachin further ensured the provision of funds for mud house construction for the hand pumps, Chhurpey-driers, improvement in drinking water facility, electricity, road connectivity and construction of staff quarters and many more.
 
Sachin Kumar also visited PHC and Hr. Sec School, Nyoma. He also convened a meeting with the officers of Nyoma sub-division and discussed the functioning, performance, problems, and achievements along with the issues and requirements of various departments.
 
Sachin Kumar was accompanied by Rigzin Spalgon, SDM Durbuk; Mohd Taqi, SDM Nyoma and other sub-divisional officers during the tour.
