CEC visits Chuchot areas Two vacant buildings handed over to Construction Division, Leh

Two vacant buildings opposite to the PHC Chuchot which was earlier in the possession of army were handed over to Construction Division Leh in presence of Dorjey Motup, CEC on October 10.

Dorjey Motup directed Exn. Construction Division to complete all required repair and renovation works of buildings at the earliest and handed over the same to PHC Chuchot.

He also assured to provide additional infrastructure facilities at the PHC Chuchot. Required funds will be proposed in the next district plan. Exn. Construction was asked to submit a detailed estimate for the blacktopping of premises and internal roads of PHC Chushot.

After interacting with the people of Chuchot Gongma, Shamma and Yokma, Dorjay Motup directed Exn. PHE to complete all the water supply schemes in Chuchot belt at the earliest.

He also inspected the area near Matho road diversion damaged by water leakage from Igoo –Phey canal. He directed SE PWD and Exn, I&FC and concerned engineers to find an amicable solution in close coordination with villages.

Taking stock of the work progress of culvert of Shashi bridge, he directed engineers to make the bridge fully functional before dismantling of the bridge of Choglamsar.

Later, he along with Mumtaz Hussain, EC Fisheries visited a fish farm and hatchery plant at Chushot Shamma.

The plant is being constructed under the CSR and Environmental Management Programme of NHPC at a cost of ₹1.18 crore and is at the final stage of its completion.
 
Mohd Amin Lone, Dy. Director, Fisheries informed that out of the ₹1.18 crore,  ₹23.70 lakh is yet to be released through Commissioner Secretary Animal and Fisheries J&K Govt.

During the visit of mini Aquarium Hall at Fish Farm Shey, Mohd.  Amin demanded solar power backup.

Gyal P Wangyal, EC Health,  Mumtaz Hussain,EC, Animal and Sheep Husbandry,  SE PWD, Executive Engineers, Engineers, BMO Chuchot, Army Officers and Nambardars and representatives of Chuchot Gongma, Shamma and Yokma were present.
