Brainstorming session on road safety measures held in Kargil

In connection with the 29th Road Safety Week, a brainstorming session on various aspects of road safety, driving rules and cautions was held on April 27 at Conference Hall, Baroo, Kargil.

Discussion on the methods and necessities of road safety and how people must understand the use of helmets and seat belts while driving on the road or anywhere were held.

The participants put forth their views on traffic rules and regulations, getting vehicles checked at regular intervals besides traffic etiquettes in case of fatal accidents.

The importance of fastening a seat belt while driving and to carry documents such as registration, pollution certificates and the driving license was also highlighted by the speakers. 

Imteeaz Kacho,ADC,  Haji Muhammad Baqir, Assistant Regional Transport Officer, Kargil, Gulzar Hussain Munshi, Executive Engineer REW, Kargil, Muhammad Ali Tak, Special Officer for Cultural Activities, Kargil, Assistant Professors and around 50 students from Government Degree College, Kargil participated.
